U21 Semi Finals

Post by Hyper »

So the county board are at it again!!! The Offaly Senior Management team asked for the two under 21 semi finals to be changed from tonight to another date in order to help the senior panel with their preparation for Sunday's game against Monaghan. However they were turned down.
Are the county board with or against us? Several of the senior players are involved in both semi's. Even from a laymans's point of view this isn't correct. Would you run a greyhound in a puppy stake on a Friday night and then expect him to perform in the Derby on the Sunday?
In all fairness to KK he needs every bit of help that he can muster and this ain't help.

Regarding the U21's the GAA along with Cadbury's are at present trying to raise the profile of this competion with universuity sponsorship and man of the match awards and our county board goes and does the opposite!!!!!!

Treasurer any comment/feedback?

It's probably a 'clever' scheme to get Kilmurray to resign, seeing as how they got themselves into this f*cking position anyway, and thus can't be seen to sack/force out another manager.

Sad to say but I'd say AZ's analysis is correct. County board will to stay up mightn't be as strong as the words you'd hear from them would indicate. I mean it's March FFS - why on earth would there be any need to get these games played now, as opposed to in three weeks when the NFL playoffs are going on?

This may well be true, seeing as how the Div 1,2,3,4 hierarchy is not being introduced next year, and going down will see us go into division 2A or 2B instead of Division 3.
