We are going to have to choose on Sunday between Rhode in Tullamore an Birr in Parnell Park.

I notice neither of the Malones were listed in the newspaper reports of the Aughrim game. Are they both injured ?

Barry is still carrying an injury whilst Roy was suspended due to sending off against Portlaoise last year

I'd say the fact that the Birr UCD game is now on TG4 might encourage a few more people to stay at home. I'd say there will be feck all people in Parnell, which is sad, because it has the makings of a fantastic game.

Not that I can comment, I'll be in Tullamore. A pity all the same.

You hit the nail on the head LS, I had intended going to Parnell but with the Birr game now on TG4, the clever thing to do would be to record the hurling, watch it on Sunday night and head for Tullamore for the Rhode game, meaning having the joy of seeing the two of them, depending of course on the results.
