20 best footballers In Offaly

[How ya now]

After watching that horror show on Saturday.Was wondering what are the best 20 footballers in Offaly. Personally think we will go no where when even some of the best footballers in the county aren't in there I know some choose not to be part of the panel. So we will try to name the 20 best footballers who would be proud to pull on the Offaly jersey. Get your thinking hats on and try to name the best 20 from senior inter and even maybe an odd junior player.

Michael Brazil (Tullamore) and Aidan Keenaghan (Ferbane) both come to mind for me. I know Mick Brazil is off to New Zeland for the summer but if he was in with the senior panel he might have stuck around for the summer i would say easily offaly's best performer in U21 this year great man to win a breaking ball and great strength to carry a ball through a tackle would work perfectly off Smith if at wing forward. Not to sure about story with Keenaghan but Ferbane stand out player against Tullamore and last few championship seasons when fit

I'd say maybe 15 - 17 of offaly's best footballers made themselves available for selection against wexford. i wouldn't get too carried away about who was missing. It would seem that the players we have, overall, dont have the right attitude.

i was at a few of ferbane senior league matches vs ballyfore and especially clonbollouge where he was marking a very sticky corner back and had a great game scoring 1-1 and worked hard with some great assists and one player that caught my eye was a wing/corner forward johnny dunican is his name i think looked a great player with power and speed and good score taker. surely worth a call up. anyone know him????????

I think i know the lad your on about i was at the game at rhode Vs ferbane in division 2 last week in rhode just popped in for a look ... he looked a fine player was chatting a few of the lads up there and they were saying he was on Offaly minor 2 years ago and got a very raw deal.. He linked the play up very well looks a good player .

Would have to agree with you there. What about carroll from raheen is he playing well this year does anyone know ???
