obviously not a regular in martins of the doon then doon massive...though i suspect these individuals are known all over doon. what rock did you say you hid under?

I seem to recall Paddy Kirwan going by the moniker of 'BigSac'.

Rhode is ridiculous for nicknames, probably more so than anywhere else I'd say. My favourite (non footballer) is "The Plague" Doolin. Also, in Rochfortbridge apparantly theres a fella that does a bit of painting to earn a crust and of course is known as "The Dauber". Gotta love it !.

Knew a lad in college for years known as the Rock. Younger brother came up to UCD some years later, only to be known as the Pebble. Has since been abbreviated to Peb and he now uses is all the time.

Tommy Quinn from Ballycumber is known as "Timber" and his son is now called "Splinter".
Lorcan Halligan is "Chunk" or "Chunk The Hunk" as he likes to be called, his brother is "Shada".

There was a school teacher in Portlaoise with the nickname 'Chip'. When his son started in the school, he was given the name 'Marmalade', cos he was Little Chip.

I think after two long lists courtesy of 'my knee hurts' it should be remember that he once acquired the nickname FEZ after the guy in That 70s Show.
