SENIOR FOOTBALL MATCHES

Post by Mighty Pair O' Hands »

Was at the Bracknagh V Erin Rovers match. Rovers won by 4 points (13pts to 1-6) despite conceding a soft goal. Bracknagh appeared a little shell shocked after robbing defeat from the jaws of victory against the Bridge the previous weekend. Rovers looked the better team and were comfortable at the end with Declan Kelly in great form. Did not make Ballycumber V Edenderry but by all accounts Edenderry deserved their 4 point win also. Poor result from the Bally crowd - time will tell if their heart wasnt in meeting Rhode or they are just an average side.

Ballycumber v Edenderry

B'cumber played poorly, with the line also making a shambles of it - they started Colm Quinn full forwrad and only moved him out to midfield when Edenderry had at least 5 or 6 scores up - The 2 teams must meet again to decide who plays Rhode in the quarters.
