A great win, another Leinster final but without Shane Sullivan, ref could have given him a yellow as it was the linesman who saw the incident. The centre forward clocked him and he retaliated. Rhode played a nice brand of football. All six backs played well. Anton took hos 2 goals well and Niall was Niall, scored 1-07. Playing Crokes in their backgarden on Sunday week won't be easy but this team will be well up for it and will have no fears. An Rod ABU.
Be careful out their

Well done Rhode.
I had to make do with Midlands Radio, but it sounded like a very comprehensive display.

I think they have a great chance of a Leinster title.
I believe that on their day, they could beat any club side in Ireland.
However they are well capable of a stinker too, so nothing is guaranteed.

Kilmacud edged them out after a replay 3 years.
Hopefully Rhode can turn the tables on them this time around.

Congratulations Rhode on a great win played in awful conditions. Some good football played throughout especially the move from the fullback line to forwards that lead to penalty. Eire Og's many games in the last few weeks seem to have taken its toll but getting the goal just after half time completely ended their challenge. Sulllivan will be a huge loss for the final in two weeks, it was silly but you cant retaliate either.

Kilmacud in their own backyard wont be easy but Rhode have this steely determination to their football so heres hoping they can do it.

Well done to Rhode. They are flying at the moment, but Crokes up in Dublin will be a big ask. With Nemo gone from Munster, and the Clare and Limerick reps left in it, and the poor standard of Corofins win yesterday, it's shaping up to between Leinster and Crossmaglen for the All Ireland. Hopefully that can be Rhode.

Yes a great result for football in Offaly. Rhode turned out a very clinical and professional performance and by half time the writing was on the wall when the village went in 4 points up playing against a gale. It was great to see Alan McNamee in such good form, he used his size and strenght on many occasions yesterday horsing lads out of it. There were superb displays also from Niall, as usual, as well as Anton Sullivan, Niall Darby and Joe Kilmurray. Rhode are better now than they were 2 years ago and have an excellent chance of going to parnell Pk and taking their first Leinster.

Congratulations to Rhode in fairness. Twice Leinster finalists in three years. For the sake of Offaly football a win would be more then timely.

It goes without saying though that Kilmacud Crokes are the team to beat.

For instance Ray Cosgrove, Kevin Nolan, Paul Griffin, Darren Magee and Mark Vaughan all played Inter County for Dublin this year.
Johnny Magee and Liam Óg O' Héanacháin both played championship for Dublin in the last three or four years.
Adrian Morrissey starred for the Wexford Senior Semi-Finalists this year kicking two points in one championship match and being named man-of-the-match in one such championship encounter.
Liam McBarron played Inter County Championship for Fermanagh this year.
Brian Kavanagh has transferred from his native Ardee in Longford and lines out for them in the corner forward position.

Just looking at their team the overall impression is that of an extremely physical and big club team.
Rhode minus the presence of Shane Sullivan could be in trouble.

In saying that though Rhode have been flying since the group stages of this years championship handing out hammerings to Gracefield, Tullamore, St. Brigids, Ferbane and Éire Óg. They were caught on the hop by Moorefield two years ago and with their delightful, incisive and intelligent football, Who is to be sure they can't catch Kilmacud cold in a similar fashion :?:
The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.

Rhode are now 12/1 to win All Ireland, this could be bet of the year because if they win Leinster their is Corofin or Crossmaglen/Ballinderry and the Munster boys (no great shakes). I have backed Rhode @ 33/1, so fingers and eveything else crossed.
Be careful out their
