Has it ever happened before that the one parish has won all the senior championships in Offaly in the same year - Senior Rhode, Inter Croghan, Junior A Rhode & Junior B Clonmore Harps. I know that I am jumping the gun with Croghan but in 2 weeks time they will have beaten walsh Island.

There is 5 adult grades in Offaly football I think, only 4 in hurling.

There is a junior C football champ, but four out of five aint bad! The key to Rhodes success has been the three national schools in rhode, croghan and ballybryan. Also, in Rhode you play football or you play nothing atal. (they have a soccer team but it has no negative impact on the football unlike say edenderry where many players would prefer to play with the soccer team than commit to their footballers).
