No, Brendan was only 14/15 when Skenagh won Intermediate in 95.

his brothers were on the team did ye beat Rynagh in both Finals?

Neither actually. Beat Killeigh/Raheen in the Intermediate Final and Carrig/Riverstown in the Junior. Three Murphys on both teams.

I was at the match and some of his scores were brilliant with around 1-5 or 1-6 from play. Showed some brilliant bits of skill and shooting and looked fitter than he has in a few years.

Belmont werent relegated around that time as they were intermediate then.

Highlights the need for some regional/merged teams in the senior championship. Gives quality players from lower clubs the chance to play against the top clubs in the county

Its the reason why junior club footballers get their chance on the Kerry county team
only the best...
