All are welcome, but whether we take the sob stories seriously or not is another matter....

Well lads ye can believe what ye want to believe, the match programme on May 25th will reveal all. Ye can add James Young to the injury list now, went over on his knee playing in a club game he shouldn't have been playing in at the weekend.

With a name like 'Zane', I'd already have my doubts about the lad.
I always heard he was seriously talented, but it doesn't take much for him to drop off a county panel as happened with him at underage.

Who's heading up to Portlaoise for this game? Is the Shark making an appearance? Hopefully Offaly can turn in a performance, despite the dodgy league campaign and the unrest.

Any ideas for the team, or is OF on the ball with his selection?

Dont be hoping too much for a big crowd from Offaly.. If the league attendances are anything to go by we wont be seeing too many faithful supporters!
I heard OF is fairly spot on with the team.. with Oakley at no 6. Not gonna beat KK but should be enough for Laois! Then we'll have Rory and Bergin back and with nothin to lose...

This is probably a stupid question, but given the fact that it is a double header, and you might get a decent Laois and Westmeath support, is there cash on the stiles on Sunday, or is it ticket?

Cheers Treas. Thanks for that. It's a bit of a comedown for us to be a 'curtain raiser' for Dublin and Westmeath, but I suppose that's due to TV times.
