Anyone see the late night news on RTE 2 last night?
Just as he was finishing the sports news our own Eamonn Horan paraphrased the great Anchorman himself, Ron Burgandy. The film was been shown on RTE last night.

His female co-presenter didnt find it too funny at all, but I thought it was a classic from the man from Ballycumber.

Agree with True Red, it was a classic piece of presenting from the Ballycumber man.
Would have been priceless if the newsreader had signed off with ''thanks for stopping by, Ireland'' or whatever it was that the female co-presenter said.
Brian Dobson: [about Sile Ni Seoige] I'll give this little cookie an hour before we're doing the no-pants dance. Time to musk up.
[opens cologne cabinet]
Eamonn Horan: Wow. Never ceases to amaze me. What cologne you gonna go with? London Gentleman, or wait. No, no, no. Hold on. Blackbeard's Delight.
Brian Dobson: No, she gets a special cologne... It's called s*x Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.
Eamonn Horan: It's quite pungent.
Brian Dobson: Oh yeah.
Eamonn Horan: It's a formidable scent... It stings the nostrils. In a good way.
Brian Dobson: Yep.
Eamonn Horan: Brian, I'm gonna be honest with you, that smells like pure gasoline.

Ron Burgundy: That doesn't make sense.
Brian Dobson: Well... Let's go see if we can make this little kitty purr.
