True enough (the statement about the lenght of time each manager got) but thats not KK's fault (that the others got a short knock) and it doesnt take from the fact that we made progress to arrive at a Leinster Final under KK.We're not comparing "apples with apples" as both Kelly & Fahy only had one year in the job unlike KK who at least had the two years. If you compare Kilmurrays first season it is on a par (at best) or worse than his predecessors and that is the only direct comparison that can be made.
KK's record could be weighed up against P.Nolan's time in charge or Roe at the end of this year but ultimately any other comparison is fairly pointless..
If the others were deemed a success then surely they would have got another chance - I hear you say " what with our County Board" - point taken!! but we will never know now.
The question which was originally posed to me took nothing like this into consideration, It was a straight forward question based on the results of each manager in total- not how long they had or whether one got a fairer chance than the other- the question was posed with full 20 20 hindsight vision of how it was and who got the most results regardless of how long they had.
Its the overall thing that counts, we could pick out league games, challenge games, who brought in the younger players etc etc as bench marks, but we can only judge on the results in the overall sense.

Ditto for Roe - we need to win Div 4 and win a few Championship games or he will be considered a failure.The latter would be probably accepted if we won enough and got to the final again.
