That's a tough draw for yereselves there. Realistically you would look on Birr, Coolderry, Rynagh's, Skenach and K/K as the only potential winners, and 4 of those are in the one group. This also means that Drumcullen have got completely done altogether.
The football's a little more balanced, as realistically Ferbane, Doon and Brigid's would have been the weakest of the 8 "strong" teams. They've been split up, so the groups are quite balanced.
Clara will probably be the happiest, and Tullamore will certainly expect to progress a bit more than they have done since their last Dowling Cup win.

2005 Draw
that is a savage group all right. everyone would probably still have a chance though with the three teams qualifying. i could see drumcullen and ballyskenach being the 2 to miss out myself. id say rynaghs should be a good bit better this year with lads like horan and flannery coming into the team.
