How good are this year’s minor hurlers?

Below Kilkenny and Dublin.

On a par with Wexford & Laois.

Which is decent for us.

I watched them against Laois. I liked the look of them: strong down the spine, forwards who can create space and take a score, play a nice brand of hurling. They'd be worth spending the €10 or whatever it is to get in on Saturday.

Goes to show that when you have a long term development squad vision , good things can happen. Despite some people saying its not fit for purpose.

Great skill and work rate shown particularly in defence, rucks and the tackle.

Really nice to be looking forward to a hurling provincial final where we have a 50/50 chance of prevailing. It has been a while. Nice to see a good spread of clubs involved, with obvious special mention to K/K with 6 starters, which is phenomenal. They really are driving the standards at club level. Up to each and every other club to come up to that level, as it will only be good for the county as a whole.

There are some lovely hurlers on that team.
An absolute joy to watch.
