sorry to burst your bubble but Cork did beat Offaly by 7 points on opening night down in Cork, great win against Leitrim, it was extremely tight upto Leitrim going down to 14 men early in second half, so that has to be factored into the 8 point win, which was more than anyone envisaged prior to the game..Down next week end is a huge game, we need to get a result, I think the game is away, which make it all the harder, anyway they should have a bit of confidence scoring wise..2-13 and 2-13 in last 2 games which is decent with the weather we are having and pitches condition etc.

Games against Longford,Louth & Leitrim since the game against Cork.

Down game is at HOME next weekend, and also it was 2-13 and 2-16 in the last two games.

Must be a Laois man...........

Congrats to team and management on a good win yesterday, 2-16 is a good score.
It will be a big game for Offaly. Down are on 5 points, they are chasing promotion, I go for a draw.

Offaly to beat Down by 3 points, home advantage must be take advantage of here. Two games on hurling at 12.30 so hopefully the attendance will be high, bit of positive thinking ahead of the week end. Footballers are moving well and were well on top against Cork until black card. Any way best of luck to both teams
