Today the Ladies won their All Ireland Semi Final to qualify for the first All Ireland Final for an Offaly LGFA Club...……….

They did it against a Cork Club who had won both the Intermediate and Senior Club Finals. So it is a fantastic achievement and I wish them all the best in the Final on Sunday 24th...……...

Pullough I believe too.

I think it’s supposed to be those 3:

But Jennifer Byrne (the former Rose of Tralee and Offaly ladies footballer.(From Doon)) plays with St Manchan’s, which I think is supposed to be the equivalent to the underage arrangement in football.
According to my reading of it, it formed when Doon-Shannonbridge and Ferbane amalgamated. As to how players from the other clubs are involved, I’m unaware.

Only starting going to ladies football this year
I've been a bit shocked with the high standard of the play tbh, pace of the game, disciplined tackling, score taking
Cracking game yesterday, high drama in normal time and Naomh Chiaran surprisingly blew them away in extra time.
Kate Kenny, 1-10 yesterday, unbelievable player. Scored as many of her right as from her left. Same as every other day
Best footballer in Ferbane alongside Cian Johnson and Joe Maher and that's no exaggeration.
Rarely kicks wides, her shooting efficiency very high
Roisin Ennis and Amy GavinMangan from Ballycumber particularly impressive too

Great idea that for a photo...…….

The Ladies were only brilliant...… ALL-IRELAND INTERMEDIATE CLUB FINAL Naomh Ciaran (Offaly) 2-11 Naomh Pól (Antrim) 2-9

Kate Kenny got POTM and with 8 points deserved it but others like outstanding midfielder Amy and flying wing back Roisin who made a fantastic burst from defence to set up that vital late second goal could just as easily won the award ,,,,,,,,, but they were all CLASS...…..

IT WAS GREAT TO SEE AN OFFALY CLUB WIN AN ALL IRELAND FINAL...……….. and that it is my home area makes it even better...…………..
