Ye not been fair to kiely, he is only 23 I think, last year in the regalation game against kerry he was cb and was our best player, yes he has got too many red cards but he should mature with age. P camon must be in on the way back so maybe that could free kiely up for midfield but we need him in the engine room. His younger brother is some striker of a ball but his work rate is poor, he need lots of time to develop even at senior club level.

ah we (me anyway) not being unfair on Kiely, I like his fire, at 23 now maturing is hardly an issue in this day and age, abit like the Ireland Soccer manager saying lads at 24/25 need to be "protected" hence not playing them in games...if you dont know where you stand at that age its a poor day...Kiely is Kiely gives 100% everytime..I like Camon as a hurler, not sure if he has Kielys bite as a hurler, excellent he is and tight but has he the final bit of gusto Kiely has..not sure..I just think Kiely could be so more influential a bit further up the field..

Nothing on the Offaly twitter page regarding the games tomorrow. No teamsheets for either team and no info if matches might be off.

Just seen that both matches go ahead in OCP.
€10 for both games, fantastic value.

Do we have to beat Antrim by a certain amount of points or once we win were in the final? Playing Antrim again

A simple win will do. Offaly's scoring difference exceeds Kerry's as it us, and so wouldn't deteriorate in a win.

So Antrim are in the final against Offaly or Kerry. Offaly simply must win though.

Current scoring difference has the following:

Antrim plus 63
Offaly plus 48
Kerry plus 27

So an Offaly win of any sort puts them in the final vs Antrim.

A draw eliminates us.

An Offaly win by 37 or more points would see us play Kerry in the final!!!!

It'll be an interesting reflection of how we're seen by Antrim. If they perceive Kerry to be the easier opponent, they'll want to deny Offaly the win. If they think that Offaly (a Christy Ring team, and a team they beat in a crucial Joe McD game last year) are the softer touch, they'll travel down with a weaker team, or a less than wholehearted attitude.

Of course, that in turn opens them up to the risk of being seen to insult Offaly, before meeting Offaly again in a league final. It's an interesting one.
