Postby SearingDrive » Mon Apr 29, 2019 11:15 am

Offaly GAA in conjunction with O'Neill's and Colgan Sports, will launch a replica of the iconic jersey worn by Offaly footballers in the famous 1982 Final, ending Kerry's dream of 5 in a row titles.
The launch takes place next Sunday 5th May at 11.30 am in The Faithful Fields Kilcormac. Members of the 1982 team will be in attendance. Members of the current Offaly Senior Hurling and Football panels will also be there to meet supporters before they open their championship campaigns, the following weekend, v Laois in hurling, and Meath in Football.

Aye. I’d like to see a similar one for our change set of jerseys.
Here’s some of the more recent ones:

In saying that, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some sort of a fluorescent colour on a dark jersey or vice versa with the way that O’Neills appear to be going with some of the latest jerseys.

Maybe we should go for khaki jerseys for big John, with the sleeves trimmed. Trevor Giles style.
