Congratulations to Ferbane, who bridged a 25 year gap to become SFC champions today. Ferbane came good in the second half, with two Cian Johnson goals, and never looked back, beating Rhode by 2-13 to 0-14.
Niall McNamee didn't start for Rhode, but came on in the second half, but couldn't save his team today.
Ferbane play the Wicklow champions in Tullamore in two weeks from today.

Well done to Ferbane long over due, great to see a new fresh faced team winning the championship. Best of luck to them in Leinster

Well done to Ferbane. They’ll be there or thereabouts for a while yet anyway. It’ll be interesting to see how they fare in Leinster.

Cian Johnson got player of the year. Given his scoring to wides ratio was ridiculous if must have been the easiest decision ever to give it to him. Fully deserved.
