I feel that it’s Clareen’s year.
However, if they don’t go up this year, I feel that they may stay in the grade for a couple of years.

I see that Clareen obliterated Caarrig and Riverstown by 22 points. I’m aware that Freeman isn’t around. How do they go from CRC being competitive in A competitions to being a struggling senior B team at adult level?
Surely Crinkill don’t have that many on the CRC teams. In saying that SK should be too strong for all the teams in senior B, but by 22 points, it seems a bit much.
Anyone care to explain the situation? I’m very much so in the dark on this.

The step up from underage to aldultbhurling is quite big and players develop differently. Some develop and grow into a senior hurler and others just can’t adapt to the grade. SK will blow a lot of teams out of the water in this championship and could possibly win the championship and compete well in the Leinster championship. C&R lost to Drumcullen last week by 6 points and I’m not sure what side Drumcullen had put but any side they do put out are always decent and competitive. C&R will struggle this year and could be well relegated. They need all the players they can get and missing Conor Freeman doesn’t help the situation for them.

What carrig need to do is go CRC gaels across all teams. Adult, u21, minor right down to nursery.
Freeman is a good hurler but not going to make a whole pile of difference to the team.
