Two questions immediately spring to mind.

1. How have Meath been given home advantage for this game? Have our county board entered into a home and away arrangement with Meath where the next championship encounter will be in Tullamore and so on? Or have the Leinster Council just fixed it there randomly. Either way we need to hear an explanation.

2. How in the name of God is that KIP Pairc Tailteann deemed fit to host senior inter-county championship fixtures? All I heard for years was SPB had to get rid of all the grassy banks as this was one of the major H&S stumbling blocks of it hosting matches. For Christ's sake both "terraces" behind each goal in Navan is a grassy bank. And the stand is an absolute disgrace.

Is this the usual way how these things are handled? Sounds a tiny bit on the dodgy side to me, to tell you the truth.
