Never thought I'd say it, but agree with you Frank.

The K/K player got sent off about 14 months ago against Ballinamere from what I had gathered. He played anyway and it was copped in the days after the game and the CCC overturned the result after an appeal from Ballinamere. There are a lot of stories going around about it but that is the general jist of it.

Apparently the lad in question hit about four balls in the game. Silly ta play him though especially since by all accounts kk completely outhurled BD.

I did also hear he was non existent in the game. I also heard the player had forgot about the sending off. Sanctions for the player are up to six months suspension and if he had forgotten and was not told that he couldn’t play then I would have sympathy for the player in question and the officers of the club should be at fault for not making him aware of his suspension.

How would a suspension 14 months ago impact this game?

Someone just sent me a copy of michael duignan facebook post about niall gleeson posting a link about his 12 week ban from hoganstand and them posting who like it.

He acting like teen girl. He work in the media. A person personal facebook account been use to share a news story. Should not be a issue for someone who work in the industry.

Using that post to bully people into not share a story that he doesn't like or feels upset him is bullshit. He not a 12 year old girl.

This a clearly just duignan trying to deflect away from his own behaviour at the match. Which was poor. The bullshit that he should be let do what he want cause he rised money for the faithful fields is possable the dumbest thing i ever heard from a grow man..
I can't beleive that someone who works in the media would think to post such bullshit.

On aside note. The kk player should have not been playing. The club should have known. They can't complain.

Duigan is a sickener. Literally believes he can do what he likes. Believes his own hype for some reason or another.

The way he went into overdrive when he helped Ballinamere/Durrow win the minor made it look like this was the greatest result and championship victory in the history of the GAA.

Only getting to this now, llkj. I think it's been answered to Killeighman and the in form local paper has informed the readership and I don't have anything to add.

As for a board officer promoting the story on social media, I think that is a big deal. Possibility the disciplinary process will be prejudiced. In the interest of a hearing hat is not just fair and impartial, but is seen to be fair and impartial, he could have kept his fingers away from his device on this occasion.

Agreed. ‘Twas rather unwise.

Na Fianna qualified for County Final, with a 3-15 to 1-19 win in extra time. Game switched to Rath, I arrived at half time, Ballinamere /Durrow were ahead by 1-10 to 1-0, but helped by a strong wind Na Fianna went 3 points up, with about 10 minutes left, but didn't close it out, and Ballinamere/Durrow scored 3 points to tie the match, 2-12, 1-15.
Conditions, including wind, rain, and a soft pitch tested both sets of players to the limit.

Na Fianna added a third goal in extra time, and were relieved when a B/D penalty went over for a point.
The winners held on for a 2 point victory.
I believe the final is next Saturday, venue and time to be confirmed.
