Inevitable really, with all the attention. What was the turnout at training tonight?

It was managerless anyway, read that much on Twitter.

I heard that the crunchy board made contact with Sam Allardyce.

I think the punch in the Kerry club match did more damage to him than the Wicklow result.

Allardyce, David Moyes and Wallace all sacked on the same day. All of them having achieved their mission in staving off relegation..

Yeah.

Wallace to West Ham, Moyes to Everton, Big Sam to Offaly.

Tom Coffey has taken the Offaly job on an interim basis twice in the past. I believe the only managerial job he has at present is with Rhode minors, so he may be approached to see out the rest of the year again. #GAA - from Pat Nolan on Twitter.

The panel was in Kilcormac on the pitch at 7pm to train too apparently bar two players, one with work and one with permission to miss it to attend a concert. From Justin Kelly ,who does bits for the Offaly Express on Twitter.

Whether that includes the lads who supposedly walked, I don’t know.

Gallows humour. I just hope they have a Plan B lined up. If they haven't, this could turn farcical.
More farcical, I mean.

I was actually just thinking the same thing. There were bizarre decisions last Sunday, but none were sackable offences and could have been a learning experience for him too.

Did you see the “letter” Colm Parkinson tweeted out?

Well the last line of that letter worked out well for them to not be published by the media and here we go it’s out in the open. The whole thing is a shambles

Updated story on Stephen Wallace's departure includes letter from some, though apparently not all, players which was forwarded to the Offaly executive before the decision was made to remove him as manager. #GAA - Pat Nolan on Twitter.
