I reckon that Nigel Dunne will spearhead Shamrock’s charges to senior B glory in 2018.
A few dark horses.

no one man ever won a championship but I also would fancy shamrocks.

the minor team that won are pushing on and should be steeping up now. these lads are now 22 and 23..

ballycumber, erin rovers and tubber will provide good local matches..

If they can keep lads at home, they’ll go far, no doubt about it.

Predictions for round 1:

St Rynagh's v Bracknagh - St Rynaghs will be looking to harness some bouncebackability having been relegated last year. With their only county football representative out injured, it doesn’t look good for the Cloghan :D / Banagher :? men. Bracknagh appear to be a club with the ambition of doing one better than last year. The two Cunninghams are on the county panel, and it will take some effort to stop them. They also have an u20 panellist or two. I can’t see St Rynaghs winning, however they can be competitive. Bracknagh by 5

Shamrocks v Erin Rovers - hard to call this one. I had Shamrocks as favourites a couple of months ago, but the closer we get to this opening round the more I doubt myself. Obviously they’ve Nigel Dunne, and I’d imagine that Dunican will play out the field, but Erin Rovers will be no pushovers. With good scoring forwards such as Nathan Poland and Gio Russo, they’ll be there, thereabouts come the final whistle. They also possess a creative playmaker in Conor Lynam and Ryan Delaney should chip in with a couple of scores. A high scoring draw.

Raheen v Walsh Island - A hard one for me to figure out. Haven’t viewed either side in the last year. Walsh Island will, I presume posses the two Mulhalls in the forward line, with James Lalor being assigned the task of marking Willie. I’m unsure whether or not Walsh Island will be able to handle Conor Carroll inside. I think that Raheen will reign superior in the end by 3 points.

Ballycumber v Tubber - Teams that are no strangers to one another, with players playing together at underage, formerly as Ballycumber/Tubber, now as St Manchans with Doon and Erin Rovers. Bernard Allen will be tough to handle, but there’ll be a degree of familiarity no doubt. Seán Farrell, Offaly minor last year, who I believe is with the u20s this year will also be hoping to wreak havoc. You never know with Ballycumber. They hammered Bracknagh in the league by 18 points, albeit a Bracknagh side minus at least Peter Cunningham, if not more. They possess Luke Gavin-Mangan, a current Offaly u20 panellist, and full back on the minor team last year. A draw.

I see that Clara are due to host games on Wednesday and Thursday at 8pm.
Clara don’t have proper lights if I’m not mistaken, and the evenings are gone…

Two relegations and two promotions in 2 years for Rynaghs. Obviously have quality players in the club who are satisfied to play on the second team in the lower grades which is disappointing.

Spoke with the manager of the 2nd team after one of their grooup games, and he said they don't train, have no game plan, just go out , enjoy themselves and attack, attack, attack!!!
Maybe a bit of re-thinking for both teams next season.
