Any idea how panel is shaping up or who are the new additions. Has to be lot of new lads given the number of last year's panel not involved for various reasons

The footballers had a challenge match last weekend v Roscommon.
Lost 2-18 to 0-19
They had 9 championship starters from 2017 and a further 3 from 2016.
Standouts were 13,14 and 11. (Got it from a Rossie, he’s not familiar with any of our players)
We can only guess who were playing.
Dunne could have been 14, although his wedding was this weekend.
13: Panda?
11: Cunningham possibly?

Anyone at the match?

It wouldn't have been Cunningham anyway as he is out for a few months with his hip.

Potentially Sean Doyle and Panda are 2 of the below??

The same channel has more than up to that point.
There are 10 shorter videos. Offaly 07 to 10 is the remainder of the match.

Kickouts v poor
Poor defending for goals. Lucky not to have conceded a third.
It appears that Anton was 11. I think Jordan Hayes was midfield, although it could’ve been Michael Brazil (left footer)
Some decent interplay coming out from the back. Sloppy at times though.
We seemed to drop deeper than I thought we would. (Orthodox)

Also I noticed a no. 21 with white skins and white boots. From Offaly 07 on. Could it be Cian Johnson? Saw him play the minor final, and no. 21 resembles his build, as well as the fact that no. 21 was all left footed.

Looks like a very young team with all the injuries / defections but best of luck to all concerned. By all accounts everyone has put in a huge effort thus far.

It's a really big ask for young Johnson. Obviously a talented lad but I'd be wary of throwing young lads in so soon - we have done it too often with young lads before when they weren't ready and it didn't help them. Hasn't done it at U21 level yet so very much unproven and I hope he doesn't get hurt.

Just wonder if Ken Casey or Gerry Grehan of Lomans have been brought in? I think that they should be in there or at least asked to be in there. Both are mature players with talent and speed who most certainly could offer something at opposite ends of the pitch.
