It’s believable alright after the Fitzgibbon campaign. Toxicity might have more info. I think that (s)he’s from that neck of the woods.

O Connor park is in some state at the moment with all the matches that have been on it, 2 matches this weekend can't be good for it....should Offaly v Laois be moved too Birr?

Bórd na Móna Park looked no worse on television on Saturday than it was for the Limerick match a week earlier. And the week ahead is promised settled and dry. That being the case, I'd expect BnMP to be okay for next Sunday's hurling.

We know very little about the condition of Birr's pitch at the moment. The very little we do know is that the recent Birr v Coolderry league match was switched to Coolderry in the midweek before the match.

Thankfully I know enough and it's good to go for the game the week after....2 matches in OCP wont work specially looking at the pitch this weekend.

Jesus!!!! And you wonder why Birr have gone back so much. Heads buried in the sand as the saying goes, or buried in their soft pitch!

Nothing being mentioned anywhere about an appeal going in so I don’t think it’s happening. He’ll be a big loss but more than likely Tommy Geraghty will come in. Tommy has been unfortunate not to start more games with the way he is playing and his scoring return in those games. I suspect to see Dermot Shortt come back in for Jordan Quinn and Colin Egan at centre forward for Kinsella and Tommy Geraghty for Paddy Delaney in midfield.
