This is the usual PR spin that arrives here after the various All Ireland tournaments over the last couple of years.

People last year were claiming that Offaly son the All Ireland U16 title when in fact they won the shield. And now this year we have a claim that Offaly beat Kilkenny in the U15 championship which is false. Offaly actually beat Kilkenny South. And for context Kilkenny South were subsequently beaten by Kilkenny North.

I think beating any Kilkenny team is to be welcomed at this stage. It's important to acknowledge the few people who are putting in an effort at underage and for the County Board to give them the necessary back-up and resources.

Kilkenny - they had two teams in... Kilkenny 1 and Kilkenny 2... Offaly beat Kilkenny 1.
