His in now. So best of luck to him.
While i still think personal this is a mistake. He now have a Offaly Jersey on and will have my support.
all Offaly can do is hope that he treats the players better than he did when he was in Antrim and Tyrone.
Lets hope he has learned from his massive mistakes up north.

Players have to Live and Hurler. Working with the players to get the best out of them and that required working around there lives, works and study, While still getting the max training time they can give. This is something he fail at in Antrim and Antrim have suffered since.

But that the past.

In 2017 we be looking for an improvement in the style of play. Following the Waterford last few games 2016, the Galway style, the Tipperary and Kilkenny style. Not the Waterford Munster champion style or the Clare or Cork stuff.

the second issue is the selection of Players. I'm Sure Flynn and Ryan will know nothing about Offaly hurling. that not they problem. The problem is that this means that someone will be picking the panel for Ryan. That person now has a huge job but in Offaly that person will remain nameless. there issue with players will mean that they will pick there favourite and leave better players wonder why Ryan hasn't picked them.

The next issue is that is Ryan asked for stupid training level, With lads travelling to train 6 night a week. Them only students and teachers will be able to commit. Which mean we have a load of 20 years getting hammered cause there playing against a team of 29 years old who physical push them around. We have no full back, no centre back and joe bergin will be expected to play midfield, wing forward and every other position apart from his best position.

Best of luck to every man that pulls on the Offaly jersey next year. Know that Offaly supporters get just as frustrated as yourself. We know the time and effort you put in and we respect you and love you for that. We know that you never put on the jersey and not try your best.
We understand that hurling is your great love and we understand that when commitment level are at a level where you are losing your income and losing time away from family that a huge issue for you and your family.

Know that I'm a complete shithead at times.
Know that i travel to watch game in Tipp, Galway, Laois, Kilkenny and any other county the wife lets go to. Know that watching hurling I know that there is no reason you can't take on and beat the best.
Here hoping i'm completely wrong about this management team and they bring the talent we have in this county together.
If they do the job could be a lot easier than people think.

Boland should be a politician, he speaks so well in the public eye in fairness to him, it's a trait not many people have.

Lies after lies after lies.

No Selectors yet.
Ryan is meeting the players on sunday morning.

The question is who picked the players as no person that would have watched Club hurling in 2016 is on the management team yet.
But that for a journalism to asked the hard questions?

E Kelly left because of " work pressures " but neither of the selectors announced that they were leaving so i guess they want to continue .
I dont have a clue but looking at Tip some of the backroom team stayed when the manager left.
Time will tell Greenairfield

It's alright, Green. It's only toxicity/sam having the same conversation with himself again.

Shocking the way d owens was overlooked for the Hall of Fame award. Disgraceful treatment by the crunchie boord.

How soon can we apply to have this word added to the Oxford dictionary? It is surely part of the lexicon now.

Crunchie board: a malapropism used to poke fun at die-hard but poor spelling, and illogical supporters of hurling in centre of Ireland.

I submitted it to the Oxford Dictonary new word department. They said there was a good case for inclusion.

Their suggested definition:
Crunchie Board-Fifth columnist gaelic games administration body whose main purpose is to sabotage Offaly and smite D Owens

Pretty harsh comments there lads. If memory serves me right one of those contributors told of his struggles with dyslexia. You don't have to agree with their comments but this kind of treatment is uncalled for.
