Follow Up appears to be a major issue and is confirmed by The Irish Daily Mirror Today http://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/gaa/off ... re-7935236

Hopefully Club Delegates at tonight's county board meeting will ensure that the real work required to restore Offaly Hurling to the top tier begins tonight.

Document was sent to the media from a e-mail address:
"Bizarrely the 'whistleblower' claimed to be Ger Loughnane, though we've verified he is not the source"
"The contents of the review and other documentation found their way to local media last week and a management meeting was called tonight"

This is the only reason it be put out at tonight meeting.
It just show the power the local media have to do both good and bad and the responsible they have.

hopefully tonight will be the start of a regeneration of offally hurling .
delegates seem to have execpted offaly decline without question or any outrage for too long .
Surely after the new lows offaly have reached over the last few weeks against kerry and westmeath delegates will have something to say to p boland and his crew.
it time for the strokes and the spin to stop and start working on offaly future but also investagate why good club hurlers have opted out of offaly panel for the last few years .
is there anything the cb or the managment can do to rectify that problem and if too much damage has been done ,ensure it does not happen again .
offaly seem to have made every mistake possible and kept repeating them .

e Kelly should have to account of offaly terrible form ,i know he has complained about abuse for nameless people . Abuse is totaly wrong but he must have know he didnt deserve praise either and the media and ex players have been very patient with him in my view.
i think he know he mess up and is he is only diverting attention away from the real issue which how offaly have declined even more since he took over.
If p boland survives tonight he is untouchable or delegates dont care.

Thanks afb. I look forward to reading that when I put in my order to DBA Publishing.

Only one delegate questioned the delay in the Offaly Hurling Review report tonight (Brian Gavin, Clara), apparently. He was quickly told it had been dealt with.

Nobody really cares.

And Tommy Byrne can go on spouting ráiméis unhindered. Offaly will soon be like Wicklow.

Holy lord lads but is the level of apathy from County Board delegate's not frightening?

What is going on in there at all?
The executive of the County Board are admittedly floundering but when no one with the exception of Brian Gavin has the balls to even ask a question is it a sign that Gaelic Games in this county is on a precipice?
