A brother in law of mine and my self had a discussion tonite about shane Dooley and the discussion was when he first played senior hurling hurling for offaly in other wordsc what was his first senior match for offaly at senior level?

2007 he came on for Joe Bergin vs Laois in the championship from what i can see. A repeat of that scoreline next week would be great. Looking at that what a year 2010 was and how things have changed.

Shane Dooley's Offaly appearances (league and championship) to date.

In addition to that are 14 Walsh Cup appearances. The first Walsh Cup appearance was against Down in 2008, so his first championship (and league) appearances were those stated in the piece linked in 2007.
