When did Cloghan last beat Ferbane in Senior football championship?
There was a relegation game a few seasons ago, when Ferbane, Cloghan and Edenderry were all involved in a series of games. I think Edenderry beat Cloghan by three, Ferbane beat Edenderry by two and Cloghan beat Ferbane by one, scoring three goals in OCP if memory serves. I'm guessing 2008 or 2009, that kind of time?

It was 2008 - according to that year's County Final programme.

The results sequence was -
Rynagh's 3-6 Ferbane 1-11
Ferbane 2-6 Edenderry 1-7
Edenderry 1-9 Rynagh's 0-9

So that's that teaser sorted then.

Yep was 2008. Edenderry were back in the Senior Championship after winning the Intermediate in 2007. A goal in the last minute of the last game against Rynaghs meant they stayed up. They needed to win by 2 points minimum to stay up and were level after 60 minutes when Edenderry struck for the killer goal and Rynaghs were relegated instead. Imagine that goal didnt go in - would Edenderry have won the Senior in 2011? Funny how a kick of a ball can determine the future of a club

2008 is right.

i nearly had to be defibbed after that game

Edenderry were in three successive relegation play off's after winning the intermediate in 2007. Which made the 2011 success very sweet.
