5th of March set for the game.

Seriously impressive result, well done to all involved. Badly needed and hopefully will lead to a bit more of a feelgood factor for the senior game against Sligo on Sunday week too.

Well done to the team and management with the win. Credit where its due. By the reports on it, we got a good strangle hold early on and put the game away.
Game will do the panel good ahead of the real test against the Lillies.
Also will give the senior training a shot in the arm over the lead up to our next league game on Sunday week.
With McDonnell having time to reflect on the Cavan performance maybe we can look forward to a bit of a response agin Sligo.

Great shot in the arm for the county. I know it is only one win but after the last few weeks it is a welcome change (The senior footballers are on a run of 4 defeats on the trot with the only win coming against UCD in first round of O'Byrne)

I feel good for O'Donnell also who must feel under pressure also. I hope the good vibes from alst night can feed into the whole set up and that Sligo will feel the full force of it.

I really hope we can get support to Athy for Wedenesday week. Can Club Faithful start now in pushing this fixture?

Radio3 have tweeted that last night was Offaly's first Leinster U21 Championship away win in the 21st century.

So, has anyone any idea when the last U21 football away win was?

It must have been back in 1995. If I recall correctly, Offaly went 9 years without winning an U21 game after '95.

It may very well be 1995. I have the programme from that year's All-Ireland semi-final against Mayo which reveals Offaly beat Wexford in Wexford in the first round.

Yes what a win and an excellent performance all round.
Home draw against the winners of louth / meath , will Gracefield be the venue ?
If leinster counsel have any brains among them it should be in Gracefield , this is based that Newtowncashel hosted the Longford/Weastmeath a few weeks ago with very limited facilities.
Best wishes to the u21s in the semi final and hope our county board fight for home venue.

Great win , congrats to all involved. Vital now to stay in Div 3 and help these young lads plus the minors coming through to develope. Trying to start again from the roots of Div 4 will be a disaster.
