The Corkies should be able to find Portlaoise - just keep on the motorway beyond the Thurles exit for a bit.

I wonder will they bother bringing a doctor with them to Antrim. The last time they had to travel that far before one of them bled the whole way home and a decade of strike and strife was about to unfold.

On a serious note, with Casement Park closed (I think) Antrim's home matches will likely be played at North Antrim venues.

That Cork ARROGANCE at the CB meeting is no surprise.

They went and had secret meeting with their Munster friends to engineer an escape from the Second Tier and he tries this untruth now.

Now they are rewarded for all the hassle over the 2 months by getting an undeserved 3 home fixtures at our expense ( and Wexford).

It stinks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the Faithful who will be planning travelling schedules and the like, there's Offaly's 'spring series' for 2014. No double headers for Offaly in 2014 though for a change, the scenario of playing the same county in different codes at the same time in different venues has been avoided.

Sunday 2nd February – NFL v Wexford (A)
Sunday 9th February – NFL v Cavan (H)
Sunday 16th February – NHL v Laois (H)
Sunday 23rd February – NHL v Wexford (A)
Sunday 2nd March – NFL v Sligo (A)
Sunday 9th March – NHL v Cork (A), NFL v Longford (H)
Sunday 16th March – NHL v Limerick (H), NFL v Roscommon (A)
Sunday 23rd March – NHL v Antrim (H)
Sunday 30th March – NHL quarter-final, NFL v Limerick (H)
Sunday 6th April – NFL v Fermanagh (A)

*Easter Sunday falls on 20th April in 2014

My choice of games to attend,

Sunday 2nd February – NFL v Wexford (A) Unless get all clear for an overnight trip, no
Sunday 9th February – NFL v Cavan (H) Vital home game, few scoops and NY resolutions waining
Sunday 16th February – NHL v Laois (H) New regime, local derby, a must win/must attend
Sunday 23rd February – NHL v Wexford (A) , If I go to football, unlikely will be able to get away again, If Wexford short Oulart contingent we should be able to take the points here.
Sunday 2nd March – NFL v Sligo (A) Novel tie, and nice little spin, might load up the family for this one, nice meal after on the way back in Carrick on Shannon, (The Oarsman if still open)
Sunday 9th March – NHL v Cork (A), NFL v Longford (H) Longford, good battle, anything not to boost the coffers of the Corkonians, (expect hurlers to give this a right rattle)
Sunday 16th March – NHL v Limerick (H), NFL v Roscommon (A) Ros away is tempting, but chance to see top hurling team coming to Tullamore may prove more appealing. Hyde is a handy run for away fixture, could go either way.
Sunday 23rd March – NHL v Antrim (H) Wander in at the last minute, if Loughgiel make the final, should be a gimme
Sunday 30th March – NHL quarter-final, NFL v Limerick (H) Limerick are possibly the hardest team to watch playing football apart from ourselves at times, last year was the most horrible game of football I ever saw. (Final was only slight improvement). Will start into the ever increasing "To do" list that is sprawling down the length of the fridge by that stage. Thankfully, the wife's expectations in DIY have been carefully managed over the years and so, will make a big dent while cursing the fact that most of the 103 coverage is from Westmeath or Laois!!
Sunday 6th April – NFL v Fermanagh (A) Might take a spin up here as novel game also, could be pencilled in as good overnight session if we have anything to play for, substitute for London 2013!!

Out of these, the Wexford games are the possible no shows. What are your thoughts chaps on yere intentions?

The hurling League arrangement will absolutely have to be changed for next year if Cork fail to gain promotion. Can't have the Pavarottis having three away matches while they host two from Laois, Antrim, Carlow or Westmeath.
