Anyone hear fixtures for semi finals? I see Durrow v Shamrocks is on the website for the 21st at OCP (maybe a mistake) but the word is that the Senior semis are on the week after. Anyone in the know?

Junior A semis fixed for friday night the 27th of september. Tullamore vs ballycommon in geashill under lights.

Senior semis fixed for sunday 29th. Tullamore vs clara on at 4. And rhode vs edenderry on afterwards. Well so I have been told anyway.

That's a little unfortunate in that it clashes with the ladies final in Croke Park for a lot of people - hopefully it won't diminish the crowd that would go up to Dublin to support them.

That said, it's hard to know what else they could have done - it could hardly be put up against the All Ireland replay.

Think the ladies final is at 12 in croker. So a 4 o clock throw in should give people time to come down if they so wish. Its not ideal alright but what else could they do. These fixtures aint set in stone yet so they mite change yet.

Midlandsport tweeted earlier the times as 15.15 clara vs tullamore. 16.45 rhode vs edenderry on sunday the 29th.very tight for people wishing to go to croker and make it back down for the semi's.

Tullamore had a 6 point victory over a very well drilled ballycommon outfit who must have been missing half a team when these two sides met in the group. This match could have went either way and the 6 point victory kinda flatters tullamore.Ballycommon got a goal at the start of the second half to lead by 2 points but never kicked on. They hit a couple of wides at this stage. Tullamore then missed a peno. It was looking like ballycommon mite do it. Tullamore then upped there game and pace and fitness kicked in. Stephen francis got a goal and it was curtains for ballycommon.

I hear the ferbane vs birr match was a draw .. God knows when that replay will be played seen as birr are in the hurling fina sunday weekl. Scoreline was 1-8 to 11 after aet.

Ferbane drew with Shamrocks in the minor semi in Mucklagh this evening. Ferbane are in the A 16s final, and Shamrocks are in the B final- who would want to in charge of fixtures!!!

Ferbane-Belmont are also in the semi-final of the Minor B hurling. And in the U16 'B' hurling Final where (according to the County board fixtures site) they awaith the winners of a Shamrocks v Tullamore replay. I echo those sentiments regarding the CCC.
