Ok lads might as well set the ball rolling as the game is just 3 weeks away, Big task ahead of us... a mountain to climb in my opinion.

Any word of how training is going, any challenge games played, any injuries or anything to report?

Quite enough this end regarding the senior hurlers this year

Great to see Dan Currams back in training with Offaly, if he doesnt start at least he is a great option to have on the line .

A great piece of publicity being staged by Offaly GAA along with this match; it's nice to see Offaly GAA making good headlines for a change.

On the more serious matter, I don't know where I'm getting this warm feeling that we actually might have a chance in this one. Certainly the significant absentees on the Cats side will help, but we also know they probably have the best reserves to call on in the whole country. But we are at home, and I'd be hopeful that we can bring a crowd that outnumbers our opponents (for a change :o )

Anticipation building .....

About time that Offaly got a home championship game in Tullamore. Is there a big crowd expected, it's not an all ticket affair is it?

A Birr man acknowledges that games played in Tullamore are "home" games for the hurlers.....never though I'd see the day :D
