Re: New Offaly Jersey
He would have picked out the Offaly man with the turf bucket on his head, (in fairness the turf bucket would be a dead giveaway!!). Oh sorry..... the Turf bucket would be on John Troy's head (just in case POTH comes after me again!)

There's another oft-forgotten special jersey - the one from the famous 1980 All-Ireland semi-final. The best link I (sorry, Google) can find is for this video ...

I considered this one a bit soccer-esque with the vertical stripes on one side. But it is certainly unique; I don't remember any other county having anything like it before or since.

Peter Parker: I missed the part where that's MY problem.

I really should think twice before posting comments like that.DAF wrote:High School Musical wrote:As the late great Celine Dion once said;

Ah Jayz lads that jersey is woeful, we were Kildare that day.
Re: New Offaly Jersey
The new jersey was being worn today by the footballers but it was swicthed at half time for the whote offaly jersey because or home colours clashed too much with Limeriks.From the front they dont clash but with it being almsot completly green at the back it looked far to similar to Limericks jersey.I wasn't sure before but now I am beginning to think POTH had a reasonable enough point.they should have kep the size of the colours at an equal split all through the jersey.

Whatever they decide to do, if we are playing Limerick, Fermanagh, Meath we need to change our jersey, or them theirs.
