Could it be that the turn out of the footballers, compared to the hurlers, on the New Year's Eve Walk will be reflected in their on field performances this year.......

Was just thinking there with the advent of multiple sponsors now being allowed on GAA jerseys it mightn't be a bad idea for "Club Faithful" to try and get their logo on the county jersey for 2014. It might do something to raise their profile. A lot of teams are adding the "opt for life" logo to their jerseys so it would be far from unprecedented.

However I would not advocate a second sponsor to be added to the jersey however small the logo may be. This would totally undermine the loyalty Carroll's have showed to Offaly GAA over the last 20 years plus.

Club Faithful Dublin Launch Saturday 24th January in Dohent & Nesbitts at 8 p.m. Liam Hogan is organising this and wants all Offaly Gaels in Dublin to do their best to come out and support the launch!

Listen, I may ask the question thats on most poster's minds here.

A question that has been asked by many a man before me, and one that will be asked by many a man to come:

Will there be any free drink at this?
