Wexford face tax bill
26 April 2012
Following a voluntary disclosure with the Revenue Commissioners, Wexford GAA is set to receive a tax bill.

The figure that the County Board may have to pay the Revenue is not known, but the Wexford People report that the sum may hit the five figure mark.

County Board chairman Diarmuid Devereux said: "There is a process going on which is a voluntary disclosure on behalf of Wexford County GAA Board where we can put in place a settlement to bring us up to date and be tax compliant for the future.

"The tax implications will be finalised over the coming weeks with the Revenue Commissioners, details of which will be announced by myself to the county board meeting on May 25th, when also a half yearly financial review will be presented to the club chairmen and club secretaries who will be in attendance."
