What's the story regarding the above and his ommission from the hurling panel. According to media reports he was dropped from the panel as he could no longer commit. Where do these stories arise? I heard from the so called "horse's mouth" that this is not the case and that he has been in full training and did not wish to leave the panel. Have we got a case here of the hurling manager being from the same ilk as our football one!
