Cork 2-2 Offaly 1-5 Latest Score. 2 wides just there by Colin Egan.

McDonald started corner back and was replaced early by Brian Mulrooney.

Half time, Cork 2-7 Offaly 1-7.

With Cork down to 14, it's there for them - this will tell a lot about this squad and whether they are really making progress or not.
Kevin Egan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.

That answer would be a firm no. 4 years, practically zero tangible progress. Maybe if management didn't act like spoiled children last weekend they could have done a bit of shooting practice. 16 wides so far. Cathal Parlon is sh*t.

Joe, Pat, Brendan- Don't let the door hit ye on the way out!!

I hope to God we don't end up reading anything more about "battling spirit" and "honourable defeat". Honourable defeat is fine every so often, but after a while they get very sickening.

Five points still with a couple of minutes left....

1 point loss.

2-17 to 2-16. 16 wides.

We have the ability to make progress if we can get a good man to steer the ship.

Well that's exactly what will be said. Let their be no doubt Offaly threw this game away. By my count they missed 2-6 in easy scores. Cork were a complete utter shambles. Offaly went through the motions, suddenly realised the game was their for them but time ran out. Another heroic defeat.
