Shannonbridge to compete in 'Celebrity Bainisteoir 3'

As the title says, Shannonbridge have been chosen to represent Offaly in the reality tv program Celebrity Bainisteoir for the 2010 version....

I am in nth Roscommon and there was a great buzz around the Cootehall area when St Michaels were involved. Just a pity they ended up with John Waters.

its startin in august the quarter final, semi final is in september and final in october.
should be a great lift for us right in the middle of championship :)
really looking forward to it

All I know is I was at the Cat Laughs festival this weekend and Andrew Maxwell is managing the Dublin team so that should be entertaining!

Rumour around the bridge is that it's Cheryl Cole..... but that's only a rumour mind!! :wink: :wink: :D

I heard that it's Neil Delamere. It would make sense as he is high profile enough and Edenderry are senior. He's a bit of a favourite with the RTE top brass aswell so I'd say it could be a runner.

Piers Morgan was born O'Meara. I think he is from Banagher.
I'm not sure if even he could manage Shannonbridge though.

Nuala Carey, the RTE news Weather presenter has been introduced to Shannonbridge GAA club this morning as their celebrity bainiteoir for the 2010 competition.....


Nuala Carey profile:

Educated in Muckross Park College, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, Monkstown - born Nuala Carey graduated from UCD with a BA in English and Sociology. While in university she acted in Dramsoc and worked as an extra on numerous productions including 'Fair City', 'Michael Collins' and as a body double in 'Braveheart'.

Having an interest in Drama and public speaking, after graduating from UCD Nuala worked in 'AA Roadwatch' presenting traffic reports on Radio 1 and 2FM, and presented 'Holiday Roadwatch' on RTÉ1 and Network 2.

In March 1999 Nuala joined RTÉ as a fulltime Weather Presenter on RTÉ 1 and Network 2. Nuala has also presented a slot on 'Open House', presents the National Lottery 'Lotto' draws, and 'Telly Bingo' on occasion, and has appeared on 'The Den' numerous times.

Nuala hobbies include walking, swimming, reading, travel and going to the cinema and theatre.
