That's a great interview and John McIntyre talks such good sense. 'Twould be interesting to know what names have gone into his notebook from the club campaign and if he's going to promote some of the young prospects to the senior panel but of course he was too cagey to rise to that question.

Just to say that's an excellent interview. Well done. Fair dues to John McIntyre for being so open. I've a lot of respect for him for staying on even though he had a rough season. We can't expect miracles.

superb interview, it gives us supporters some hope to know that management are prepared to take the players to the next level for 2006.

Sounds impressive. Hope they can walk the walk.

His plans for league success will be scuppered if Birr can win the Leinster club.

League fixtures will likely be Galway (h), Clare (a) Waterford (h) Laois (a) and Kilkenny (a) in the first phase.
