Okay, usual story applies with the main competition.

For the knockout, I was trying to come up with a way of trimming down 33 players, albeit with 2 or three that are unlikely to reappear, into a workable knockout. So what I suggest is this - if there are any flaws in my plan, then please point them out now.

This week, the top 12 plus ties qualifies for knockout competition round two. That should keep around 15/16 players involved on average. Scores don't carry for the knockout obviously. The next time we have a weekend with four or more games, we'll playoff again down to 8. From there every week that there are four or more games, we'll have straight head to head knockout, with tie breakers in case of a draw. Obviously if there aren't enough of those weeks we'll just decide it on county final days or something. Also to any lurkers out there, new entrants still welcome - last chance though.

Any objections, or other suggestions, then say so now so we have time to adjust it.

Now I'm going to spoil it all by tipping Ballycumber myself - I still think they're outsiders on form, but I've been on their side all year, no point stopping now.
