Brainwave!

Post by Ron »

I reckon that Offaly should name Neville Coughlan in the Hurling panel for the next game and as a result on of the games (the hurling) couldn't be played on Saturday. Even if there was no intention to play him it would allow some time to lick the wounds.

No. When you fall off, get straight back on again.

I'm reckoning on a much improved performance against the Deise.

The Positives

Post by Kevin »

At the beginning it was good to see that our guys were not going to be pushed around right from the throw in, then we scored first.

Our scoring and scores from play percentage was good in the first half. We took some good scores. Double our first half score and we win allot of games.

The Shark got on TV twice near the end of the game with a few lads and a lady awaiting the final whistle.

I am convinced that this season is not over. Two wins over the next three games is not at all out of the question. We are not nearly as bad as yesterday's score might indicate.

Up the Faithful!

The shark has again proved itself as a media hoor, hogging the limelight on RTE's coverage.

Pat the plank Kenny and Ryan Tupperware are fighting over the autumn interview of said shark.

Scarey result yesterday, hard to know how the upcoming games will pan out, but we are nothing if not eternally optimistic!

Looks like a few bleak years ahead, we really need to get the underage structure sorted before we can expect any return to the glory days, and please god they will return.

Rumour has it Thomas Mulcahy called us masochists?

Club Energise keep wanting the shark to swig one of their bottles every time the camera pans to him.
Luckily such crass commercialism will not be pandered to!

Did anyone notice the over-use of the phrase "bring to the table" on the Sunday Game?

I think RTE are trying to save a few bob and send the lads to a 1 day intensive marketing course in ucd.

What next?
"The offaly hurlers touched base tuesday in the PM to blue sky a few ideas, a couple were raised up the flag pole, currently waiting a salute"
