Kinnitty 4-12 Lusmagh 1-11

Post by Offalys Future »

Kinnity were by far the better team and will be happy enough heading into the Semi Final.

They led at half time by 3-07 to 1-02. Lusmagh were very very poor and from what i was told i was expecting them to do well but they were actually shocking bad. Gary Kelly kept them in the game with excellent free taking but he was needed in the goal where his brother (i think) had a nightmare of a day. He let in 4 goals and made at least 5 other mistakes. Lusmagh hit 25 puckouts throughout the game and won 9. That fairly sums up their performance.
Kieran Bermingham hurled well. I thought David Moran was very poor centre back, Austin Lynch showed glimpses but very little.
Like i have said Kinnitty had James Rigney, Coughlan and Stephen Molloy who played very well. All in all Kinnity fully deserved their ten point win.
