It would be good to see an underage team having a bit of a run for a change, we thought it was going to be the U21's in March, maybe it will be the minors?
Who is over the team this year anyway?

New Rules/Old Rules
:?: Does anyone know if the kicking tee will come in for the rest of the championship? I wonder what kind of distance Podge would get with that? I read somewhere that since it was passed at congress it takes a month to come into "law". Funny to hear about the cases of sunburning at Sundays...

Mark Daly can probably count himself unlucky not to be starting, I think we will probably see him take the field at some stage on Sunday however, a good man to come off the bench. Hard to see Offaly being pushed to hard here after surviving in division 1 while Louth were unimpressive in Div 2, still...

Social Footie
I have looked into this before last winter (04-05) and, like the comments above, and it dawned on me that there is no social outlet for GAA in the city. I remembered seeing a "social football" exhibition match in Croke Park at half time last year, so I emailed Croke Park to see if I could ...

I have to agree with Loughers on this one, its one thing entirely dealing with dimwits in a pub but its a different thing entirely when the national media use the term in this way. Its use in this case by the Westmeath supporter was intended to insult Offaly fans and for RTE to condone this (by airi...
