Re: Junior A Hurling Championship 2023
2 more walkovers given this weekend in the last round of group games. Shamrocks conceded against Kk and Tullamore conceded against Coolderry. That’s 8 walkovers between the 2 groups with Carrig & Riverstown having pulled out. It’s becoming more regular now in junior A & B championships . Any...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
Fairplayalways, you say that Dodge kills the risk of debate and just start throwing insults. Yet you haven’t presented any actual argument as to what removing second teams from the championships actually accomplishes? Exactly 👍🏻 Didn't think i had to give example s..my argument is an example in tha...

Re: Offaly Intermediate Club Hurling Championship 2023
Big win for Carrig but I think that was expected. I still think either Drumcullen or Coolderry will win it out

Re: Junior A Hurling Championship 2023
In group 2 tonight Brosna Gaels bet Clodiagh Gaels by 0-17 to 1-13 to top the group. Clodiagh Gaels finish second and Kinnitty third. In group 1 , tomorrow’s game between Ballinamere & Crinkill is off due to a bereavement in Ballinamere. On Saturday Kk play Shamrocks and on Sunday Coolderry play...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
If a club X’s 1st team is incapable of beating Club Y’s 2nd team what business have they hurling Club Y’s 1st team? Therefore a grade below Senior for clubs made of 1st teams only is not feasible. For example Drumcullen lost to Coolderry’s 2nd team in the Intermediate Championship. Do you think Dru...

Re: Offaly Intermediate Club Hurling Championship 2023
Carrig tend to struggle to get over the line in knockout in recent years and I’ve heard one if their best hurlers is out with a bad knee injury. I’d fancy them to get to the final but I think Coolderry will win it out.

Re: Junior A Hurling Championship 2023
I was at the game. Kk deserved the win. Better all over the field. Crinkill looked rusty and struggled to get good possession and gave the ball away cheaply a lot. I thought the ref was poor. Seemed to let a lot of throwing the ball go and also over carrying. However this did not have a bearing on t...

Re: Junior A Hurling Championship 2023
Ballinamere seem so ahead of the rest in this championship , Especially with todays results . Brosna Gaels on 6 points after playing 1 game is a bit of a joke on the other side. Are Carrig and Riverstown relegated after conceding all their group games. Not sure what way that works but Carrig should...

Kk bet Crinkill 1-17 to 0-10 today. Ballinamere, Kk, Crinkill, Clodiagh Gaels, Brosna Gaels, and Kinnitty all guaranteed knockout hurling.

Re: Junior A Hurling Championship 2023
According to the Offaly Gaa website Ballinamere bet Tullamore 6-27 to 1-01 this evening!! Can anyone clarify if that scoreline is correct ?? Correct Dodge That is some scoreline 😬. You’d wonder are Ballinamere that good or were Tullamore very under strength. Ballinamere must be favourites to win it...
