Re: Semi-Finals
LS, odds on Rhode for the All Ireland Club? (No disrespect meant to Clara. Personally hope they can put in a massive performance) I'll field this bit first, since this is straightforward. 25/1 to win Leinster (maybe a touch of value in that) and 100/1 to win the All Ireland. One lad from Ferbane ha...

Re: Numbers
Here goes . . . I don’t have the 2016 census figures, so it’s based on the 2011 census which is unlikely to be materially different. Moneygall (in Tipperary for the GAA): Cullenwaine 703, Templeharry 210, Barna 156, Dunkerrin 359. TOTAL 1,428 Shinrone: Shinrone 965, Cangort 213, Ballincor 160. TOTA...

Re: Semi-Finals
Ferbane are already drafting a motion for GAA congress, where the referee has to mark the pitch with shaving foam! One lad from Ferbane has videos on his Facebook page criticising Smyth, by showing the Brady goal, and build up to it, and also one where Smyth made a refereeeing error last year. That...

Re: Numbers
That would place Ballyfore's catchment as being the LEA of Monasteroris and perhaps Esker (if the latter isn't the Mount Lucas side of Daingean). You're correct with the territory aspect POTH Good map Been from the North of the county can only comment on that part. Edenderry is too far west. Ballyf...

Re: Numbers
Something tells me that was the case somewhere along the line. There were green and white flags flying outside houses from the canal bridge at Edenderry all the way to the parish boundary at that bridge near the turn for Clonbullogue. Am I totally wrong in saying Edenderry and Ballyfore are the one...

Re: Numbers
Am I totally wrong in saying Edenderry and Ballyfore are the one parish therefore you can play with whichever club you want? David Brady played with Ballyfore up the end of 2015 as far as I know but has played with Edenderry for the last two seasons. Aye, well sort of. St Patrick's parish. However ...

Re: Numbers
Thank you. I will put numbers to them but that's a job for another day. I can always use the 2011 census figures, they won't be radically different anyway. Do you know is there a polling station in Pollagh? What's it called? Or where do the people of Pollagh vote? Would love to clarify the Edenderr...

Re: Numbers
Before we get figures, I will try and establish the link between the LEAs and the Catholic parishes which form the basis for the clubs. I’d have a decent to middling grasp of the south and west Offaly ones, but would appreciate assistance with those around and east of Tullamore; particularly the Ra...

Re: Numbers
Does the census categorise parishes? Because in some parishes you could be closer to one village, but be in another villages parish. Then you've the st Vincent's area, etc. Where lines of boundaries are between Cappincur and Ballycommon, etc
Then you've Shannon Harbour. 1/2 Rynaghs 1/2 Tisaran

Re: Semi-Finals
Clara were the better team over the hour. Ferbane were complaining about Scott Brady's goal. There's shouldn't have stood either. Overall Clara deserving winners. Ferbane had their chances and didn't take them, as did Clara. One instance in particular was Joe Maher's free which he didn't strike prop...
