Re: Club football championship 2023
Clara had a 2 man advantage going into first half injury time and that sending off turned the game, it wasn’t until durrow went 4 ahead after scoring the goal in 55-56th min that Clara got their second red card. It was amazing that 4 reds were shown and I don’t recall a yellow being shown during the...

Re: GAA Season Ticket 2023
Is this closed or is there still an option to buy, wasnt too keen at Christmas but would go to a lot of neutral games if the offer was still open.
If closed it would be good to reopen for a week or two before the championship starts.

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2023
I think the u20s took the reality from a lot of people. We are a long way off the pace, laois, Westmeath get a hammering most of the time the last few years and we are about their level give or take. We are a Joe Mcdonagh team and deserve to be their. We are going in the right direction and it’s get...

Re: U20 hurlers 23
Back to the match a few observations, i have to admit i was worried after the first few minutes of both the first and second half, Dublin seemed a much different team powerfully and their ability to pass the ball and break tackles, took a few minutes before we got going properly, the goal was a bit ...

Re: U20 hurlers 23
Great game, fought for every ball and a well deserved victory. I had spoken to a Galway man earlier in the week who said Galway had a strong team and should win.Great to see us beat a strong team at this level, the success of the minors has been brought through. Hopefully the lads that went off toda...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
Back to the celebration topic, do people not remember when they beat Fermanagh, maybe the celebrations wasn’t as much but it wasn’t far off it. From what I see it there may have been a lot of emotion on Sunday that they not only did it as a team/ panel but they put everything on the line for Liam. A...

Re: NFL Div 3 predictions 2023
There will be no All Ireland for any of the 3 counties unless they reach the provincial final, depending on league finishing they will be number 15 and 16 based on the final league position. As Westmeath are going to be in the AI from winning the Tailteann Cup and a team from Connaught who will reac...

Re: NFL Div 3 predictions 2023
Lets be honest, Cavan were a yo yo division 1 to division 2 team until they went down to 4 and are now going back to division 2 were they will hold their own, they are an Ulster champion county in the last few years. I didn't expect the win but was looking more for areas of the game that have improv...

Re: NFL Div 3 predictions 2023
My take on the Westmeath game Not sure what happened and how we were opened up so easy for the Westmeath goal but at that stage of the game and playing with the wind it killed us for the next 10-15 mins. I actually thought Duffy was off longer than 10 minutes (12 min but may be wrong) from the time ...

Re: Club football managers 22/23
Here is my opinion, who would you prefer to manage a team that has avoided relegation in relegation finals the last few years or a team that has a realistic chance of winning a championship, it’s a no brainer, to be winning Roscommon senior championships and close to a Connaught championships his ca...

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
As a neutral watching the game to see 20 minutes before getting a score playing with the wind is never going to win a county final. Rhode are rhode and with the forwards they have are always in with a chance no matter who they play. I know anton got man of the match but for me Ken Garry found his ma...
