Antrim

Turk :
Offaly are a better side than Antrim, but they'll be up against a 15th man.
Aren't we always up against a 15th man? Or do you mean a 16th man with the crowd?? :)

Ya big eejit :)

Biff, The stand should be the Matt Connor Stand, but maybe the hill across could be the 'High Bank'.

Behind the goals could be Bord na Mona End and the Bifforum.

The Clare lads are not that confident either. I think we still have that 'Offaly' mystique in some places. I was listening to the preview on Clare FM last night, and they are bricking themselves in case this is the game that Offaly really show up for.

This is from Aertel. Disappointed in Colm Cassidy, he should be a leader at this time ----************----------------- Offaly manager John McIntyre has confirmed that five of his squad have been dropped from the panel. The news comes after the five failed to turn up for Tuesday night's training ses...

Hurlers

What's the story? Is there another row in the camp? I heard something about 5 lads being dropped for not turning up to training? What's the news on the ground?

Aye Treas, but it's the county board who voted to give the Fixtures committee it's plenary powers. Let's face it the County Boards is THE body responsible for running Gaelic Games in our county, and at the moment they are running it into the ground. (I am aware you are, or were a delegate, and I sho...

Lads, I've been slating this County Board, and it's previous incarnation under Brendan Ward for years. They are an absolute joke. Full stop. There has got to be wholesale cleanout, because I don't think these shower of meglomaniacs in their Carroll Cuisine jackets can understand that they are suppos...

I cant imagine any self-respecting big name manager beating a path to Ollie Daly's door. This is it. The gestapo in the county board have made a rod for their own back, as I said back in the Gerry Fahy appointment, and again for this Kilmurray jennet. that Gestapo, of whom Ollie Daly was a member a...

Jaysus. Just realised the Sister in law and her husband and young lad are up to our new house this weekend. I'll have to do a fair bit of persuasion now!

Double Header

According to our old friend LaoisGAA, it looks like a Double header in Carlow next Saturday. Both teams need us now. It's easy to follow them in All Ireland finals and such. Let's get out there.

Time TBA

Times 5.30 Football
7.15 Hurling.

No. When you fall off, get straight back on again.

I'm reckoning on a much improved performance against the Deise.

Reasons why this is rock bottom. and we won't do a 'Dublin'. 1) The hurlers are there. Nice hurlers like Murray, Rory, Cordial, Murphy, Cassidy, etc. 2) The county board. Offaly will not neglect hurling. The County Board will not allow the game to die. 3) The hurling heartland. Despite hurling being...
