Re: Intermediate Football 2019

This whole championship is down to how Rynaghs approach this. If they give the footballers the time and support they should be winners here, they should be a comfortable Senior B side.
Brigids / Bridge / Ballycommon / Daingean on their day capable of winning but not if Rynaghs take it serious.

Re: O’Byrne Cup 2019…ish

Offaly 0-11 Kildare 1-20 More telling, Half -Time OY 0-04 KE 1-14 Can't say men against boys as both sides looked the same, Kildare had a lot of U20s on show. Better movement, better game plan and some better players. Second half was disjointed as the visitors mada a raft of changes as the match was...

Re: O’Byrne Cup 2019…ish

I see Kildare make 8 changes from team that eased to win over Carlow. Only 4 players from starting team V Kerry in Super 8's, and I think 5 or 6 of this years U20 All ireland winners start. So very experimental from Kildare. Hope Offaly go with the team they proposed for last week, it included at le...

Take exit 10, turn left and straight through roundabout and next left for pitch.
Turn left at roundabout and park at Sports Centre as parking will be tight at the grounds.

Re: Leinster Club - Football

Great to see Shamrocks and St. Brigids reaching the finals of the Inter & Junior Leinsters. Best of luck to both sides. Great for the county to bag a title.

Re: Additions to County panels Football and Hurling

If development squads are doing their jobs correctly, what club somone is from should be irrelevant. That's it in a nutshell. Esentially all underage players are equal until they start playing adult football /hurling. Certain clubs due to their size and status (senior etc) will have better conditio...

Re: Senior B Football 2018

Spoke with the manager of the 2nd team after one of their grooup games, and he said they don't train, have no game plan, just go out , enjoy themselves and attack, attack, attack!!!
Maybe a bit of re-thinking for both teams next season.

Re: Junior A Football 2018

It's with Tommy Byrne & CCC as it will decide who goes into play-offs between both teams. Saying a team played a guy under a different name and that this guy was also underage is one thing. Proving this is a completely different thing. It may be the truth, and by all accounts it is, as the playe...

"Allegedly" Clonmore played an U17 player under another eligible players name in the match V Ballinagar.
Came to light straight away as the said player was well known to some of the Ballinagar team/supporters through school, who knew he was underage.
